Last updated: 9 June 2026
Right Dive Digital (“we”, “us”, “our”) — a trading name of PDS Consulting Solutions — provides specialist digital marketing services for the scuba diving industry. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data openly and lawfully, in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
This policy explains what we collect, why, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights available to you. It applies to this website and to the marketing services we provide to our clients.
Who we are (data controller)
For personal data collected through this website, the data controller is Right Dive Digital, a trading name of PDS Consulting Solutions. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at [email protected] or via our contact page.

Information we collect automatically

How we use your data
- To respond to your enquiries and provide the information or quote you request.
- To arrange and conduct consultations and deliver our services.
- To understand how our website is used and improve its content and performance.
- To meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
Legal bases for processing
Under the UK GDPR we rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent for non-essential cookies and analytics — which you can withdraw at any time.
- Legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, running and securing our website, and promoting our services, where these are not overridden by your rights.
- Contract where processing is necessary to provide a service you have requested.
- Legal obligation where we must retain records for tax or compliance.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies to make the site work, to remember your preferences, and — only with your consent — to measure traffic. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through the cookie banner, and change your choice at any time in your browser settings.
- Essential cookies Required for the website to function (e.g. security and session). These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics cookies Help us understand how visitors use the site (e.g. Google Analytics). Set only with your consent.
- Third-party services Embedded content (such as maps, fonts, or video) may set its own cookies, governed by the provider’s policy.
To respect your privacy, our web fonts are served from a GDPR-friendly provider that does not log your IP address or set cookies.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted providers who help us run our business and website, and only as needed:
- Hosting & infrastructure providers that store and serve this website.
- Analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) where you have consented.
- Scheduling our consultation-booking provider, to arrange calls you request.
- Booking systems where you become a client, the dive-centre management platform we integrate (Dive Admin) processes booking data on your behalf under its own terms.
- Professional advisers and authorities where required by law.
International transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as UK adequacy regulations or Standard Contractual Clauses — to protect your data.
How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out above, or as required by law. Enquiry and consultation records are kept while we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards; accounting records are kept for the statutory period. We then securely delete or anonymise it.
How we protect your data
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable providers — to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information.
Your rights
Under data-protection law you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Ask us to erase your data, where applicable.
- Restrict or object to our processing of your data.
- Request portability of data you provided to us.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.
Children’s privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
This policy is provided as a clear, good-faith summary of our data practices and is not legal advice. The contact email and any registration details above should be confirmed before publishing.
